Ordering in – Come dine with me
Finally secured that elusive last minute UK holiday let but can’t get a nearby restaurant booking until 2022? For those in this fix, One Fine Dine has doubled down on its staycation offering. The company has pivoted from providing in-air dining for private jets to a pandemic-era fine dining service delivered nationwide. For even greater convenience, it has partnered with luxury holiday lettings company Bloomsbury Estates to offer fully catered packages.
For a one-off treat wherever you are, three courses come in at £65 a head. Menus change monthly, with three options per course; mains might include Gressingham duck breast with celeriac puree, crispy leg ‘bonbon’, purple kale, mead-glazed carrots and spiced black-cherry jus. The assembly is part of the fun – detailed instructions guide wannabe MasterChefs through plating up, from piping to garnishing and creating height and texture. If that – and the washing-up – sounds like too much work, private chefs are available. www.onefinedine.com
